Massachusetts has enacted the Premises ID program as MANDATORY. The species included are bison, bovine beef, bovine dairy, camelids, chickens, deer/elk, equine, gamebirds, goats, rabbits, sheep, swine, turkeys, waterfowl, swine, cats,dogs, and other. 1/07 - While the Commonwealth's Premises program remains in effect, they have placed a moratorium on sending owner information to the USDA. Should they renew that practice, past Commissioner Gillespie stated that owners would have 30 days to opt out.
