VT recently announced that they will not proceed further with their Premises ID program. Vermont's Secretary of Agriculture announced to a recent gathering of farmers that the State has decided to let the pending program expire.

NAIS's Equine Working Group has published its recommendations, which state that they feel tracking will be impractical, but that tagging in some way is reasonable.
